Former Students
17 former students are now fully qualified with the RAD and teaching Ballet through out Britain most of them did so after a successful career in Theatre.
Eileen Murphy from my first class of pupils in Dalkeith now runs one of the top dance schools in Germany which she and her husband opened after retiring as principal dancers in a German Ballet Company.
Carol Malinen from Musselburgh appeared on many BBC and ITV shows before continuing her dancing in America. Carole also was an excellent teacher.
Our very lovely Gillian Coleman who many of you will remember as our business manager, along with several of our students spent years dancing on Cruise Liners.
Sarah Medley from North Berwick since leaving the Royal Ballet dances in Sweden.
Don Fraser from Musselburgh made her career dancing in Musicals through out Germany.
Nicola Grant from Tranent danced for many years in Las Vegas.
Two members of staff Christine Bowtle and Caroline Graham spent many years in stage shows through out Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, and Spain. Both Christine and Caroline are now partners in the school andCaroline known as Miss C brings a new and very successful dimension to our school with her wealth of Theatre experience and most of all her amazing Hip-hop style of dance.
